4 Rivers Cover Its Boundary (Ramzan, Ahu, Kali and Chambal).

the Mukundra Tiger Reserve (Tr) Is Located near Kota, Rajasthan, on the Eastern Bank of the Chambal River.

The Mukundra Hills Declared Wild Life Century In- 1955

And Declared National Park In- 2004

It Was Notified as a Tiger Reserve in – 2013 (under the Wildlife Protection Act, 1972 and Became the 3rd Tiger Reserve of Rajasthan in the Form of the Mukundra Hills Tiger Reserve.)

Asiatic Lion Reintroduction Project-

Mukandara Hills National Park Was Once Considered for the Reintroduction of the Asiatic Lion.

Mukundra Hills National Park Received the First Tiger from Ranthambore Tiger Reserve. In July and August 2020, a Male and Female Tiger Were Discovered Dead and Probably Died in Territorial Fights. Later, the Other Male Tiger Died. The Cause of His Death Is Still Not Known. The Last Tigress, Was Discovered with Multiple Injuries and for Her Safety, She Was Translocated to a Biological Park for Treatment. She Was Put Back in Mukundra after Laser Therapy. She Is the Last Tiger of Mukundra.

Attractions to see in Darrah National Park

  1. A Special Species of Parrot Found in Gagorni Parrot Mukundra Hills, Which Can Imitate the Voice of a Human Being. It Is Reddish and Has a Reddish Color on the Wings.

It Is Called the Hiramana Paratha and the Loop of Hindus (Speaking in the Human Voice). In Ancient times This Parrot Was Used for Espionage. This Forest Department Has Been Declared the Mascot of the Jhalawar District.

  1. Sambar, Chital, Nilgai, Harin, Wild Boar, Fox, Rabbit, Etc Are Found in the Mukundara Hills.
  2. This Sanctuary Is Famous for Dakhda (Anojis Pandula) Forests.
  3. Mukundrahills Are Famous for Their Gorgeous Storks.
